Minor Annoyances

Well, there always has to be a hitch. Our temporary apartment has decided to start renovating the building today. They've torn out the front entryway and poured a new concrete landing. They're planning to put up new siding and entry lights. All very nice for whoever moves in when we're gone. Just irritating for us. Until they're done, we'll have to walk around to the back of the building to get in. We'll also be unable to use the laundry room. Don't know how what they're going to suggest we do when they shut down the laundry.

The next annoyance is they're going to replace our windows and probably our patio door. That requires us to clear the patio and move all the furniture 3 feet away from the window. Don't really care for the workers having that kind of access to the apartment but there's not much I can do about that.
